Isuzu Motors Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-, medium- and light-class trucks that for the first time officially represents its commercial automotive equipment in the Kazakhstani market.
The Company’s history starts from 1916 as the industrial group Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. has been founded and it has gone ahead with production of licensed passenger cars. The beginning of assembling the trucks at Company’s factory was marked in 1918.
In 1936 the Company released the first Japan diesel engine and is at present the leader in developing new technologies for this type of engines. To date Isuzu vehicles are globally supplied to more than 130 countries and diesel engines – to production lines of many leading automobile makers worldwide.
The Isuzu products portfolio is divided in passenger and commercial cars. The first group incorporates sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks manufactured for the markets of Europe, the USA and other countries of the South-East Asia.
